This site is run by George Morgan-Gilder as a personal portfolio and private sales channel. This page sets out what information is collected and why.

What we collect

If you accept analytics cookies, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to record aggregate, anonymised page views — which paintings get looked at, where visitors come from, and what device they’re on. No personal profiles are built and no data is sold.

If you reject, no Google Analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive cookieless “pings” used only for anonymous aggregate counts, as permitted by PECR / UK-GDPR.

Cookies we set

• gmg-cookie-consent— your analytics choice (Accept or Reject). Stored on your own device, “localStorage”, not transmitted anywhere.
• _ga, _ga_<id>— Google Analytics 4, set only if you accept. Used to distinguish repeat visits from new ones.

You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Images you upload

Uploads are only possible via the admin area and are stored in Firebase Storage alongside each painting record.
